BRANDLETE PLAYMAKER NETWORK · BPN

Open a door.
Get paid when it wins.

You already know the coaches, directors and families who run youth sports. A Brandlete Playmaker makes one warm introduction, and earns a real share of revenue when that team comes aboard. No pitching. No cold links. Just the people you already trust.

Why this network exists

The average youth athlete quits after 2.86 years.

That is the number we are fighting (Aspen Institute, State of Play). Every org that loses a kid at year three loses the story that would have kept them: the highlight, the profile, the moment that made them feel seen. Brandlete gives athletes a home for that story and gives orgs a reason kids stay. Playmakers are the people who carry that message to the next org, the next coach, the next family, one real conversation at a time.

What a Playmaker is

A trusted insider, not a salesperson.

A Brandlete Playmaker is a coach, club director, parent, athlete, alum or sports connector who brings us a team, program or department they know. You make the intro. We take it from there. When the deal wins, you get paid.

1

Connected

You have real relationships with the people who run or shape youth sports orgs.

2

Credible

When you say "you should look at this," people actually listen.

3

Honest

You won't oversell or attach your name to something you wouldn't use yourself.

How it works — the relay

The handoff, start to finish.

1
Spot the play
You identify a team, program or department you know that's a fit for Brandlete.
2
Make the intro
You send us a clean, warm door-opener only you can make.
3
We take the handoff
Brian and John run point from here. You don't sell and you don't close.
4
We win the deal
Brandlete pitches, demos and gets it over the line.
5
We onboard the team
We get them live and taken care of.
6
You get paid
Once the referred org becomes a paying account, your revenue share starts.

Your credit is locked the day you make the intro and held while the deal works through our pipeline, so a long sales cycle never costs you the deal. The commission clock starts when the account makes its first payment, no matter how long the close takes.

What you take home

You earn on real revenue, for three years.

When a team you referred becomes a paying Brandlete account, you earn a share of what that account actually pays us, on a declining schedule over the first three years. No cap.

Who to refer

The fit filter.

Great fits

  • Youth sports orgs, clubs, academies, travel teams (any sport).
  • Orgs that already care about athlete development and retention.
  • Directors frustrated by kids aging out or drifting away.

Don't burn a warm intro on

  • × Orgs with no digital presence and no intent to build one.
  • × One-off rec leagues with no continuity year to year.
  • × Anyone a quick 60-second look tells you won't stick.
The playbook

How to actually get referrals.

Lead with a question
"How are you keeping kids engaged past the second season?" opens more doors than "Check out this platform."
Use the anchor
Name the one specific thing you know about their org. It signals you actually see them.
Cite the stat
The 2.86-year retention number reframes it from "another tool" to "the problem you already feel."
Show, don't tell
Point them to a live athlete profile so they see it, not just hear about it.
Label the objection
"You might think it's one more thing to manage, fair. Worth ten minutes to see if it isn't?"
Never fake it
One inauthentic intro costs more credibility than ten good ones earn. If it doesn't feel real, don't send it.
Carry the flag

Claim the role in public.

Being a Playmaker is worth wearing openly. The more visible you are as part of the BPN, the more warm doors open on their own. Encouraged, not required, but the Playmakers who do it source more deals.

List the role on LinkedIn

Add "Brandlete Playmaker" to your profile. It signals credibility and makes you a magnet for the exact orgs you'd want to refer.

Post about Brandlete

Share a win, an athlete profile, or the 2.86-year stat, in your own voice. Your take carries further than a company line.

Reshare from the company

When Brandlete's page or leadership posts, reshare with a line of your own. A reshare from a trusted insider travels far.

Tag and connect

Follow the company page, tag us when it fits, and connect with the directors and orgs you meet along the way.

FAQ

Straight answers.

No. You open the door with a warm intro. Brian and John run point on the demo, onboarding and close, looping in Judd when it helps.

You're still paid. Your credit locks the day you make the intro and holds while the deal moves through our pipeline. A 65-day close, a six-month close, it doesn't matter. The moment that org becomes a paying account, your commission starts.

If they came through your link or named you as the source, you're credited. If it's been a long while, reach back out and we'll confirm the attribution together.

Only if you have a real relationship there. This works because of trust, not reach.

Net-30 after Brandlete collects the referred account's payment for each period, via Stripe or ACH. You set your preference.

No cap. Refer a full athletic department or a large multi-team club and your share scales right along with it.
